Overview

Description

The Resilient Artist Cohort is a 12-month program, blending online and in-person experiences, exploring the impact of spiritual practices and mental health tools to cultivate spiritual and creative resilience alongside fellow artists. The Cohort is guided by both a spiritual director and licensed therapist to ensure the integration of your psychological health and spiritual direction with your creative expression.

This cohort creates a space to holistically attend to your wellbeing so you can boldly create in the midst of a changing – and often deeply challenging – world. You will investigate the connections between spiritual health, mental health, and the creative process for Artists of faith. During the Cohort, you will reflect through your collaborative art practice on the theme of “shalom”, and conclude with an exhibition featuring the artwork created. You will walk away with practical tools in addition to relationships you’ve built with other Creatives.
