In this Connecting the Gospels to Life course, you’ll encounter each Gospel's themes and develop spiritual practices to embody and incorporate them more fully.
Have you ever wondered about the four Gospels? What makes each one a unique witness to the good news announced by Jesus Christ? In this Connecting the Gospels to Life course, you’ll encounter some of the main themes of each Gospel. You’ll see afresh how Matthew highlights Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promise in the Old Testament; that Mark emphasizes the tension between faith and fear in the lives of those who follow Jesus; how Luke focuses in on the Lord’s particular mission to the marginalized; and, that John hones in on Jesus as God’s powerful, creative, life-giving speech in action. Then you’ll develop spiritual practices that help you embody these features of the good news.
