About This Course

While it is tempting to focus solely on the theological aspects of ministry, it’s also important to remember that, as ministers, we are also called to be stewards of the people in our care. Practically, this means that we need to be effective managers–both organizationally and theologically. In this course, we’ll examine the theological roots and the practical aspects of effective management to build a healthy and trusting community. You’ll be guided through the process of reflecting on your management style and developing a Professional Development Plan to enable you to leverage your strengths and guide your further growth. Through this Managing Effectively course, you’ll develop the habits and practices needed to be an effective manager of a healthy, trusting organization.
