Ed Willmington
Doctor of Musical Arts, Composer, Worship Pastor, Director of Brehm Music: A Fred Bock Initiative
Dr. Edwin (“Ed”) M. Willmington is the director of Brehm Music: A Fred Bock Initiative, which is one of four initiatives within the Brehm Center at Fuller Seminary. Dr. Willmington’s professional career has included serving as pastor of worship and arts at Scottsdale Bible Church (AZ) for 22 years, professor of music at Point Loma University in San Diego, worship pastor at College Avenue Baptist Church in San Diego, and editor/writer at Good Life Publications. As a publisher, he is the founder and editor of Jubal House Publications (<a href="http://www.jubalhouse.com/">www.JubalHouse.com</a>), an imprint of the Fred Bock Music Group (<a href="http://www.fredbock.com/">www.FredBock.com</a>). As a composer, Dr. Willmington has composed/arranged more than 100 published works and has been the recipient of several ASCAP awards. His passion is to provide creative corporate worship services that bring people into God’s presence on a weekly basis, and to create opportunities for other music ministry staff and lay persons to live out their giftedness in that end as well. He has a BA in Church Music and Conducting from Bethel College (Bethel University, MN), and a MM and DMA in Composition/Theory from the University of Arizona.
